Dream of reuniting with ex-lover: Choosing to contact, apologize, date again
Compare the dream of being contacted by your ex-lover, hearing an apology, or refusing to meet again. We distinguish between the desire to be understood and the choice to get back together, and point out the conditions to check in reality.

In dreams of reuniting with an ex-lover, the choice of ‘whether to start a relationship again’ is clearer than in dreams of simply seeing that person. The scene of being contacted, the scene where I visit first, and the scene where I hear an apology can all be read as stories with different expectations. Do not take the offer in your dream as the other person's actual intention.
When you receive a call from the other person and go to the meeting place
You can distinguish whether you liked the feeling of being chosen rather than the reunion itself, or whether you wanted to hear an explanation. If you were excited to meet someone but felt uncomfortable when you arrived, your expectations and the actual meeting were different even in your dream. Even if the contents of the text are clear, it does not mean that the same contact will be received in real life.
Hearing an apology or saying what you could not say before
In this scene, the process of explaining what happened at the time and being understood may be more important than restoring relationships. If you don't want to get back together even after hearing the apology, understanding and getting back together are two different things. There is no need to think that the dream solved the problem for you, nor that you necessarily have to have the same conversation in real life. Just knowing what you wanted to hear can be a great way to organize yourself personally.
If your current partner appears together
You can't judge who you love more by the order of the characters. Notice whether you tried to hide something, tried to explain the situation, or experienced no conflict. It is important not to take awkwardness in a dream as evidence that something is wrong with your current relationship. If you are actually uncomfortable, you should talk about the conditions of the current relationship rather than comparing the other person.
An ending where you refuse to meet again or break up again
If you are relieved after the rejection, it can be read as a scene of a choice not to go back, and if you are sad, it can be read as a scene where your choice and the outcome you wanted did not align. There is no need to fix the ending of your dream as a resolution in reality. If you are still considering getting back together after waking, check the reason why you broke up and what conditions have changed. The atmosphere of a dream alone does not solve those problems.
