Water dream interpretation: Different experiences in clear water, muddy water, and deep water
Compare clear but deep water, shallow stream water, muddy water and fast current. It explains how not only the color of the water, but also the degree of visibility, the possibility of movement, and the act of containing and moving the water create different stories.

If you end your water dream with ‘If it’s clear, it’s good, if it’s cloudy, it’s bad,’ you miss the depth, the current, and your actions. Even if the water is clear, it can be scary because you can't see the bottom, and even if the water is muddy, you can safely cross it and feel relieved. In this article, water is read as an environment through which one passes or stays, rather than as a sign of future fortune.
Dream of crossing shallow water
The problem of the scene is different depending on whether you were able to cross on foot or did not like getting your shoes wet. The former is a process of confirming the possibility of movement, and the latter is a story of attention being focused on minor inconveniences rather than the destination. Also check to see if you can see the other side. Accepting discomfort while knowing your destination and entering the water for no particular reason are not the same challenge.
When looking down at clear but deep water
If the clear water felt beautiful, the focus is the pleasure of observing; if its depth felt overwhelming, the focus is hesitation about approaching. If you just watched without going into the water, there is no need to interpret it as if you have already experienced danger. Cleanliness and safety do not necessarily coincide even in dream stories.
When entering muddy water or being carried by the current
Cloudy water makes it difficult to see the bottom or the front, and fast current makes it difficult to move in the desired direction. Each can be distinguished by the analogy of uncertainty and difficulty in adjustment. Rather than explaining both scenes as emotional outbursts, it is more specific to look at whether the person stopped because they could not see or was pushed because of lack of strength.
Dream of scooping up water and drinking or moving it
Here, water is not a vast setting but something you collect to meet a need. If your thirst is quenched, you can focus on satisfying it. If it continues to leak from the bowl, you can focus on the difficulty of preserving it. This is a reading for the reader to contrast with his or her own experiences. The amount or cloudiness of water in a dream is not a way to judge your actual health and financial situation.
